dialects. Languages most used are Amharic, Tigrigna,
Oromigna, Afar and Somali. English is the foreign
language usually taught at school.
Religions Muslim 45%, Ethiopian Orthodox 35%,
other Christian 10%, animist 10%. 
Climate In general cool on the high plateau and tropical in the
lowlands. Raining season from July to September 
Area 1,2 million km2.
